What an interesting time this is to be in business!  And challenging too.  Especially here in Ireland. Fortune is certainly fickle in the world of commerce.  It's only a short while since leading companies and consulting firms were engaged in open warfare with dot.coms and other start-ups over scarce human talent.  The climate then cooled somewhat... we saw some staffing cutbacks, and a consequent sense of sobreity has came to pass.  And now things are on the up again.  

However, as all seasoned executives know, whether the economy is on the way up or down, professional recruitment and selection practices are essential to sustainable business success.
